DANBURY FOREST 2023 POOL RULES AND INFORMATION
Entry to pool area will be granted to all Danbury Forest owners and residents (including renters) who: Have an account with photo in PoolPass (all owners have been imported based and photos will be taken the first time you enter the pool house).
Are in good standings with DFCA. - Identification of owners and residents will be by the photograph within PoolPass. Every owner and resident
MUST be checked in to PoolPass upon entering the pool check-in area. - Guest Passes and Rules: At the beginning of each pool season, every DFCA household will have an allotment of 10 guest passes. Additional passes can be purchased through DFCA’s Venmo or PayPal Account (5 for $25 or 10 for $45) or earned with community volunteering (5 per volunteer activity). Email firstname.lastname@example.org to have volunteer earned guest passes added. Any unused paid or earned guest passes will roll over to the following year.
Danbury Forest owners and residents must accompany the guest during check-in and have available guest passes within PoolPass.
No guests allowed for residents under the age of 12.
No more than 5 guests are allowed per owner or resident family without prior approval of the pool committee or DFCA Board of directors.
All guests must obey pool rules. Owners and residents and responsible for guest behavior and actions.
Pool Canopy Reservations: Pool canopy reservations are available to DFCA members and their guests. Reservations are available daily from 11 AM – 2PM and 3 PM – 6PM at a cost of $25. Payment must be made through DFCA’s Venmo or PayPal Account prior to reservation date. Go to:
Children under 10 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible person of at least 16 years of age while in the pool area or its facilities. - Children must be able to pass a swimming test to swim in the deep end/diving area. Every lifeguard has the authority to request a swim test. - All persons shall obey the instructions of the lifeguards. The lifeguards may refuse the use of the pool and its other facilities, temporarily, to persons who violate the rules. - There will be a rest period of 15 minutes each hour for children 12 years old and under. - All people must take a cleansing shower to remove suntan oils and lotions before entering the pool. - Any child who is not “potty trained” shall always wear waterproof pants that seal tightly at the legs and waist or “swim diapers”. - Swimming aids such as water wings, life preservers, air mattresses, and body floats will be restricted to the shallow end of the pool and may be used only with the permission of the lifeguards. - Ball playing in the pool or on the deck will be allowed only with the permission of the lifeguards. - All questions, concerns, accolades should be directed to the pool committee (email@example.com).
