Pool Rules and Regulations
No entry to pool area is allowed without a valid pool registration form and photograph. No exceptions.
Use of the pool is limited to resident members, member designees, and their guests.
Identification of resident members and member designees will be by photograph. Every member and member designee must sign in upon entering the pool area.
No running, pushing, dunking, rough play, profane, or abusive language.
Children under 10 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible person of at least 16 years of age while in the pool area or its facilities.
No children 12 years of age or under will be allowed to use the pool or its associated facilities after 6:00 p.m. unless accompanied by a responsible person 18 years of age or older.
Children must be able to pass a swimming test to swim in the deep end/diving area.
Guest rules are as follows:
  • No guests allowed for residents under the age of 16.
  • One guest allowed for each member 16 or 17.
  • No more than 5 guests are allowed per member family without prior approval of the pool committee or DFCA Board of directors.
All persons shall obey the instructions of the lifeguards. The lifeguards may refuse the use of the pool and its other facilities, temporarily, to persons who violate the rules.
There will be a rest period of 15 minutes each hour for children 12 years old and under.
All persons must take a cleansing shower to remove suntan oils and lotions before entering the pool.
Any child who is not “potty trained” shall at all times wear waterproof pants that seal tightly at the legs and waist or “swim diapers”.
Swimming aids such as water wings, life preservers, air mattresses, and body floats will be restricted to the shallow end of the pool and may be used only with the permission of the lifeguards.
Ball playing in the pool or on the deck will be allowed only with the permission of the lifeguards.
Glass containers and other breakable objects shall not be brought into the pool area.
