Anonymous Letter
The Board of Directors hopes that residents are not confused by the anonymous letter that was recently mailed to many of you. We want you to know that for the record, every item listed in this letter was NOT APPROVED by the Board or enhancement committee and are not under consideration as possible Phase II enhancements. The letter mailed to you was untruthful, inaccurate, and apparently written by a resident who was either uneducated on our recommendations or was trying to use propaganda to sway community support of the Phase II Enhancement project.
The Enhancement Committee has spent the past two years listening to your input, holding town hall meetings, and gathering community support. The Committee and Board has collected and analyzed your feedback and feels that the majority of the community supports the proposed Phase II enhancements. Please review the community website for information that provides the truthful recommendation from the Enhancement Committee and potential Board actions.
Presidents Note:
I would like to point out that the use of anonymous correspondence to make a point of view regarding community business is unprofessional, useless, and in this case erroneous. If you have a point to make, I expect that residents sign their name to their opinion and be available to respond to questions concerning their view.
Sincerely,
Frank Divita Jr.
DFCA President
DFCA Enhancement Project is Approved by the DFCA Board
After nearly two years of surveys, town hall meetings and other feedback, the Board voted on April 14th for the Enhancement Committee to move forward with the submission of the Final Development Plan Amendment application to Fairfax County. The Board is approving only those changes in the Development Plan that support the Enhancement Committee's Recommendations, and the Enhancement Committee is recommending only the options that were popular with a majority of home owners. (See more information on the Enhancement Project tab at left.)
Please return your notarized concurrence statement as soon as possible to ensure that your property will be included in the new Danbury Forest Final Development Plan Amendment.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us by choosing the "Contact Us" tab at left, by sending an email to contact@danburyforest.org , or by leaving a message on our main line at 703-978-9845.
